We've been travelling extensively for the last few years, meeting lots of you, talking about our careers and our life together. We've made lots of new friends and we plan to continue that. Beginning as a featured singer on the television landmark Your Show of Shows with Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca, Bill Hayes became a household icon when he created the role of "Doug Williams" on television¡¯s Days of Our Lives, a character he has portrayed over 35 years in over 1,900 episodes! He made his Broadway debut in Rodgers & Hammerstein¡¯s Me and Juliet, and went on to star in over 100 musicals and 30 legitimate plays. In 1955, he recorded "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" which hit #1 and sold over 3 million copies. He has sung with big bands, headlined the great supper clubs, hosted NBC Radio¡¯s Monitor show for a year, appeared in such films as Stop!
